A mini-Slaughterhouse reunion can be on the cards, as KXNG Crooked engages Royce in his creative process.
The Detroit rapper and producer revealed that a new Crook’s tape sent him into a survival mode. And Royce’s choice of a picture unmistakably signals Slaughterhouse:
Crook just sent me sum’n so I gotta jump into survival mode before I listen … 🦻🏿
This sentiment very much reminds of the comment Eminem made in his interview on the Crook’s Corner:
When I listen to one of your songs, I don’t really want to, because I get anxiety, but I have to, I mean, not that I don’t want to, but… It’s fucking nerve-wracking, every time with you and Royce, and I think because of that we’re also in this circle together, kind of, but it’s like, y’all are the rappers, you and he are the rappers that I get anxiety being on a song with. Because I’m like, “Man, I gotta push the pen”.
KXNG Crooked has an absolutely killer instinct when it comes to delivery and lyricism. His reputation makes his Slaughterhouse mates focus on bringing their best game. So whatever will come out of this is going to be good because Royce is going to much Crook’s energy.
Crook even showed up to Royce’s comments to put even more pressure on his friend:
Let’s take’em there my brother
While followers and fellow stars were getting excited with the promise of a new song from two distinguished wordsmiths, the third Slaughterhouse member flagged-up his interest with multiple eyes emojis.
Crook has been busy recently with the album that he calls the biggest and most important project of his career. He was spotted in the booth with Dr. Dre earlier, inspiring hopes for their joint on his upcoming album. There is a fat chance that this one with Royce will also find its place there.
So far, the most recent joint project that brought together Royce and Crook, and even Joell Ortiz, was “I Will” from Eminem’s “Music to Be Murdered By”.
