The Griselda MC mints one record after another, and the date of his official solo debut on Shady records is coming closer.

Ebro Darden got Conway on a video call to talk about the state of affairs, new sides of Conway’s personality he is ready to show, and expectations from his upcoming Shady album “God Don’t Make Mistakes”.

Conway mentioned that his joint with 2Chainz on his recent album “La Maquina” was not their first collaboration:

We actually did a record for “God Don’t Make Mistakes”. I don’t know if it’s going to make the cut ‘cause it’s like issues with the beat or whatever, sample issues. You know, the other side of the game that I don’t really be paying attention to.

That actually can explain a lot about the album delay. If Conway turned in his album and left the record label to deal with sample clearing and all the legalities, it can really take more time than an actual recording process.

And yet, when the album is out, what the fans should expect from the cut, asks Ebro Darden. Conway is not playing coy:

The illest lyricism. The most beautiful wordplay that’s ever been witnessed in an era of humankind. Put it simply, I’m just rapping, man. I’m rapping. I ain’t no humble time no more. We’re rapping or what, that’s my message to niggas. What we doing? We’re moving into a space in the music world, we’re in an era where it don’t even matter if you’re nice or not. People like you, your page, your Gram, your posts and shit more than they think about your lyrics. They don’t care about the music. If people like you as a person, you’re gonna stream amazingly. I ain’t tripping on that. I want to rap. Put me in that classroom with the rappers.
