Since then, Adam Blackstone has served as musical director and bassist for the biggest names in the music industry. Specifically, has also spent years playing bass at Eminem’s live shows. It was him, playing bass during Dr Dre’s Super Bowl performance.
Fellow musicians consistently speak warmly about working with Adam. Clearly, Eminem feels the same way.
Marshall posted a video celebrating Adam’s induction, and it might be the most wholesome thing you see today.
Eminem shared a short congratulatory video for Blackstone, shouting out one of the industry’s most respected behind-the-scenes musicians:
Yo, Adam, Marshall’s here. Just wanted to say congrats, man, on being inducted into the 2026 Philly Walk of Fame. Proud of you, bro.
