Arrest Warrants Cancelled as Kim Appears in Court

Kim Mathers turned herself in two days after missing her scheduled court hearings for two drunk-driving cases.

Last Wednesday, Eminem’s ex-wife had two court hearings scheduled. One was a sentencing hearing in the February misdemeanour case, in which she pleaded no contest in May. The other was a probable-cause conference related to the felony drunk-driving charge stemming from her May arrest, just days after entering that plea.

She did not show up, leading the judge to issue two bench warrants for her arrest. Failing to appear not only delayed the legal proceedings but also violated the conditions of her bond in the first case.

However, on Friday, Kim attended court, prompting the judge to recall both warrants. Now, she remains free on a $5,000 personal bond in the felony drunk-driving case and a $500 personal bond in the misdemeanour case, Macomb Daily reports.

New hearings for both cases will be held on August 13.
