Eminem’s Ex Arrested Again Following Court Plea

In the same week, just days after pleading no contest to impaired driving and hit and run charges, Kim was taken into custody.

Local media discovered that Chesterfield Township police arrested her on Thursday night, May 14. After several hours in the Macomb County Jail, Kim was released. No official comments have been released, no formal charges have been announced publicly. At the same time, the Chesterfield Township Police Department did not respond to media requests for comment.

However, TMZ reported additional details, citing Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld. According to the outlet, Kim was allegedly involved in another collision. DS Feld told TMZ that Kim was brought in on suspected DUI charges.

Because the incident came so soon after her plea hearing in which Kim pled no contest to two very similar misdemeanour charges, this incident could affect her sentencing in June.

Update

According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Kim was heavily intoxicated at the time of the arrest. Her breathalyser showed the level of alcohol in her blood almost three times above the limit in Michigan – 0.204 against .08.

Even if she’s happily smiling at the camera in her mug shot, the video of the arrest shows a different, more emotionally charged side of the story. Kim was slurring her words when explaining how she crashed into a car parked on the pavement, but she was worried, and she burst into tears when the officer put her in handcuffs.
