Marshall’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, was hospitalised after a suicide attempt in late July.
According to TMZ’s law enforcement sources, police and emergency were called to Kim’s home in Michigan on July 30. The suicidal person they came to help to appeared to be Kim, covered in lacerations. She violently resisted attempts to stop her and had to be restrained to get transported to a hospital.
The publication reports that Kim is recovering at home now.
The couple had a troubled marriage which resulted in divorce in 2001. Eminem and Kim briefly remarried in 2006. However, the partnership was not salvageable. Eminem channelled a lot of frustration with their relationship into his music and made an admirable effort to compensate for the difficult childhood his daughters had because of it by dedicating himself to his family.
We wish Kim a speedy recovery and hope she will regain her mental strength soon.
