Eminem’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” continues its remarkable run on the UK’s official End of Year Albums Chart, landing at No.25 for 2025. The compilation, released in 2005, has now charted 13 times in this year-end ranking – a feat unmatched by any other rap album.
Although it ranked higher at No.13 in 2024, this year’s return marks yet another reminder of the project’s enduring power. “Curtain Call” first dropped off this chart two years after its initial release. However, the album re-entered this list in 2015 and has remained on it every year since.
A Legacy That Keeps Playing
This kind of consistency is rare, especially in the fast-moving world of streaming and short album cycles. The album reached its highest year-end position in 2022, at No.6, when anticipation for new Eminem music surged. Fans turned back to classics while waiting for the next chapter after “Music to Be Murdered By”.
It’s not only nostalgia, either. “Curtain Call” continues to connect with new listeners, many discovering Eminem’s early hits for the first time. Tracks like “Lose Yourself”, “Stan”, and “The Way I Am” keep pulling in streams and downloads, re-establishing their relevance across generations.
The Top Rap Album on the Chart
Importantly, “Curtain Call” is once again the highest-ranking rap album on the UK’s 2025 year-end chart. It led a small pack of rap albums that broke into the UK’s Official Albums Chart Top 100 for 2025. With a No.25 finish, it stood far ahead of the next-highest rap entry, “Can’t Rush Greatness” by Central Cee, which landed at No.34.
50 Cent’s “Best Of” compilation came in at No.40, while Eminem’s “Curtain Call 2” placed at No.53. Kendrick Lamar’s “GNX” rounded out the Top 5 list at No.57.
There are only nine rap albums in the ranking of the 100 most popular albums of 2025. There are only two rappers whose names appeared on it twice: Eminem and 50 Cent.
25. Curtain Call – Eminem
34. Can’t Rush Greatness – Central Cee
40. Best of 50 Cent
53. Curtain Call 2 – Eminem
57. GNX – Kendrick Lamar
68. Take Care – Drake
75. Graduation – Kanye West
78. The Boy Who Played The Harp – Dave
89. Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ – 50 Cent
This limited presence underlines just how rare it is for rap albums to chart so consistently. Eminem alone accounted for two of the five top placements, the most popular rapper in the UK.
