Eminem provided six of his albums to the list of 50 most streamed hip hop albums on Spotify.
The list itself was provided by Spotify’s official hip hop playlist Rap Caviar and follows the trend of celebrating hip hop’s 50th anniversary with ranking rap artists and their projects. The previous list showed Drake, Eminem, and Kanye West being most streamed hip hop artists on the platform.
This new list starts with XXXTENTACION’s “?” at No.1 and finishes with Tyga’s “Legendary (Deluxe Edition)”, reflecting the modern audience’s taste first and foremost. New stars or immortal classic – all albums on the list is what people listen to.
So for those who still believs that “nobosy listenes to Eminem” it might be painful to larn that there are millions of people who DO listen to his music. And there are enough of them to put Marshall’s most popular studio album “The Eminem Show” just a little bit outside of No.10.
Overall, Em’s albums are postioned on the list like this:
11. “The Eminem Show”
24. “Recovery”
28. “The Marshall Mathers LP”
29. “The Marshall Mathers LP2”
30. “Music to be Murdered By”
36. “Kamikaze”
There are two more names that are close to our hearts. Dr. Dre’s “2001” is listed ander No. 25, and Fifty’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”.
So, all of this being said, there is only one artist on the list who put more albums on the list. It’s Drake, featuring seven albums within the Top 50 most streamed hip hop albums on Spotify.
