Slaughterhouse was a uniquely collaborative project but still there were tensions about contributions from different sources. KXNG has some regrets about choices there were made.
One of these choice is a decision to take Joe Budden’s verse from “Our House”. It is a busy track with Eminem’s verse and hooks from him and Skylar Grey. Maybe this is way the decision was made to cut it and the track became shorter of Joe’s creative presence. The extended version of this track still carries his verse, the way Joe carries bad memories about that time. KXNG did not know that Joe was hurt about this decision and now he regrets about not being able to swap places with his bandmate. In his tweet he insists that he would not have been offended to be left out if that was for a greater good of the band:
Things like that happen during the creative process but I wish I would’ve known back then how strongly he felt about it because I would’ve just took my verse off n we could’ve put his back. My mentality was Gang first back then.

KXNG doesn’t joke about it. This is exactly what he did in 2014 when recording “House rules” he decided not to put his verse on “I Don’t Know”:
I had a verse for it but after I heard the guys I felt it was complete.. I didn’t want to force my verse onto it but I think I ended up droppin a freestyle to that beat because I loved it.
