Royce understandably holds Eminem in his top 5 but for Tupac he has the whole separate category.

Every hip hop conversation ends with the question about personal favourites. Fat Joe asked Royce the same question about his top 5 MCs and Royce’s response was short and decisive:

My top five MCs: Jay-Z, Biggie, Big L, Eminem, Black Thought. My top five rapper of all times is Tupac. I don’t think nobody can be compared to.

I think it should be broken down by generations. Can you really say that Eminem is better than Rakim? Or can you really say that Jay-Z is better than Big Daddy Kane? Can you truly say that?! Because there wouldn’t be one without the other.

Still, that’s why “your favourite” should be added to the description, reminded Fat Joe. It is impossible to compare the greatest but you can have your own preferences. Well, this standpoint did not really save Royce last time when he mentioned how personally important for him was Snoop Dogg’s album.
