Mr. Porter, Dem Jointz, and Focus… came together in 2022 to form a supergroup of extraordinary producers Read The PDF.
Each of them has worked with Dr. Dre and Aftermath, each has at least a Grammy nomination (and Focus… has five wins), each has tons of experience and, apparently, ideas that had to be fleshed out outside of their familiar line of work.
We know that Mr. Porter aka Denaun produces soulful music for his own projects, writes deep lyrics and has a unique heart penetrating voice. We should expect no less from two others. And judging by previews posted online, we are not going to be disappointed.
The group’s official Instagram page posted a teaser of their first single “By” and announced the day of its release, June 26, focusing on their unorthodox approach to contrasting textures and mood switches.
Mr. Porter went further and posted a small clip from their upcoming video with his own verse that gives more understansing of the dynamic and character of the track. No need to say that music fans who have been following these artists for years are excited to see the result of their joint effort.
