A moving tribute at the Super Bowl just earned Lady Gaga her first Emmy, placing her on the shortlist of artists one award away from an EGOT alongside Eminem and a select few.

Lady Gaga is now just one Tony Award away from EGOT status. The singer earned a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction after performing “Hold My Hand” ahead of this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans. Her emotional tribute honoured the victims of the Jan. 1 terrorist attack on Bourbon Street and featured a powerful performance on piano backed by a local gospel choir.

Gaga already holds multiple Grammys and an Oscar, and now with an Emmy in the bag, she is just one Tony away from joining the exclusive club of entertainers who have won all four major awards.

Eminem is also on the near-EGOT list. He has won an Oscar for “Lose Yourself”, an Emmy for his part in the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, and a long shelf of Grammy Awards. Like Gaga, the only trophy missing from his collection is a Tony.

Only 27 artists in history have earned an EGOT, including Viola Davis, Elton John, Audrey Hepburn, and Whoopi Goldberg. Many more are inching closer, only one award away from a complete status. Among them are 16 performing musicians. Bruce Springsteen and David Byrne need an Emmy, Cynthia Erivo, Billy Joel, Cyndi Lauper, and Barry Manilow lack an Oscar. And nine others, including Eminem, still wait for their Tony to arrive:
