Nas and his album producer Hit-Boy celebrated “King Disease II” going No.1 globally.
Sipping cocktails at the pool edge in Ghana, Nas addressed those who helped to get the album to the top of the iTunes chart, namely, his fans and Eminem:
Peace! It’s me and my brother Hit-Boy. We want to say thank you y’all. Shady too. Escobar season!
The album is charting at No.1 on iTunes currently, and Alpha Data ranks it at No.1 as well, combining streaming and selling numbers from three days. Other charts are too slow to react yet, but numbers look promising. And obviously, Eminem played his role in drawing more listeners in, considering that his joint with Nas “EPMD2” is the most streamed track on the album.
As of today, the song has gained over 1.15 million streams on Spotify, slightly more than the second most popular song from the album “Rare” with 1 million Spotify plays.
