Eminem latest album has sold 1.5 million album units in the United States in 1.5 years since its release.
The numbers are reported by @chartdata and certainly call for a celebration as it is a significant milestone. However, note that the original tweet does not say “certified album units”. Chartdata and RIAA use different methodologies for converting streams to sales. Often, Chardata numbers look bigger, but they do not indicate an album/song eligibility for an RIAA certification. But they certainly signal that the record is approaching it.
