Were you looking for official Infinite merch with no result? Sorted. This and classic Slim Shady imagery re-invented by a new generation streetwear designer are available for fans.
Eminem announced the collaboration on his social media with a promo video:
"Let's take 'em back / In time" @MILLINSKY collab coming Thursday.. Get a preview here – https://t.co/8UiL6GLUcU pic.twitter.com/9kQirWJTNn
— Marshall Mathers (@Eminem) September 1, 2021
Millinsky is Alexandre Dalliance, the 22-year-old designer who has made the Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 list and won respect from Rihanna, Mick Jagger and Beyoncé, who all have worn Millinsky designs. Eminem is his latest star collaborator.
This project was not a casual work for a young designer who has been deeply influenced by Eminem music. Millinsky shared a picture of an autographed “Kamikaze” sleeve on his Instagram and captioned it with his account of how Marshall art has been important for him and millions from his generation:
It still feels unreal that i got the chance to collaborate with one of the greatest artists of the century. Just like millions of kids born in the 90’s, I got introduced to rap through Eminem and grew up listening to each of his incredible records. I remember the first time I listened to The Real Slim Shady, I remember the first time I watched 8 Mile, I remember the first time I watched the clip of We Made You on MTV and I remember the first time I listened to Recovery. When I first had a call with Universal Music to discuss this project, I mentioned that I wanted to reference Eminem’s whole career to honor everything he has done to inspire me but also to millions of people my age. I have always felt honored to work with every single artist I had the chance to work with, but this one feels extremely special. I hope you guys will enjoy the collection 👊
The new merch capsule contains t-shirt and hoodies that read “Hi, My Name Is Slim Shady”, “Guess Who’s Back”, “Slim Shady”, and “I am Infinite” — a nod to Em classic “Slim Shady EP” and “Eminem Show” albums as well as his very first independent LP release “Infinite”.
Sales are not open yet, but you can go to Eminem official online shop to browse the collection and sign up for early access.
