Mike Saputo, the designer behind the art cover to the latest Eminem’s album shared other versions of the art and the inspiration behind it.

He posted on his Instagram:

“Music To Be Murdered By” out now! Here’s the art for the covers. As some of you may know Alfred Hitchcock did a classic album by the same name in 1958. The first cover is the original cover with the photo homage to the cover of the OG Hitchcock version. Second cover is, due to the uhh…“sensitive” nature of the masses, a less “offensive” version without the scary gun lol. As for the look of this thing, I wanted to go with a kind of Noir meets Blue Note meets slasher feel, or at least that’s what I ended up with haha. Anyone see anything in all that blood? Kinda looks like something… All photography done by the great @dannybones64 watch for more of the art soon.
