Six years ago, Martha Stewart said in an interview: “I still have not met Eminem, and that is just ridiculous”. Years have passed, but Martha still has not met the rapper she has loved since the beginning of his mainstream career.
Once, she was close to being introduced to Eminem. She came to the Super Bowl in 2022, to watch epic halftime show, where her friend and collaborator Snoop Dogg performed alongside Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and others. But even then the meeting did not happen.
So, in her new interview with People, Martha once again reminded everyone that meeting the elusive Rap God is still one of her dreams.
I like rap music. I especially like Eminem, and I could never get Eminem to come on any… You know, he would not accept any invitation. I still haven’t met him. I tried to meet him at the Super Bowl when he appeared with Snoop and Dr. Dre a couple of years ago, and I missed him. I was walking around the stadium to get down to where he was, because I was invited. It was too late by the time I got there. They were already out on the field performing.
Back in 2024, Snoop promised Martha he would arrange a meeting with Eminem. “I’mma bring Eminem. I’m not going to call him, I’m going to bring him”, Snoop vowed. It seems it is easier for a veteran rapper to carry an Olympic flame through the streets of Paris than make Eminem pop in on a cooking show.
