Universal / Interscope Sources: “We Have No Information On Eminem Whatsoever” (Exclusive)

HipHopDX staff has had a very different year from all of us. The magazine award nominees list does not acknowledge Eminem once.

In over a dozen nominations, there is no place for the artist whose album, released in January, has not left their own list of the best albums of the year updated every month.

There are five contenders for the Best Hip Hop Album Of 2020:

“Alfredo” – Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist
“My Turn” – Lil Baby
“RTJ4” – Run The Jewels
“Savage Mode 2” – 21 Savage & Metro Boomin
“Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon” – Pop Smoke

We are certainly happy for the Alchemist, who is also shortlisted in the Best Hip-Hop Producer category, but to ignore Marshall’s albums this year takes a special kind of deliberate blindness.
