As September starts, the biggest lyrics platform looks back and crowns Eminem for providing the best verse of the month in August 2023.
Marshall’s feature in the inaugural single of Shady Records’ youngest signee was not only memorable but also impactful. It provoked so much discussion and reactions and even made hip hop veteran Melle Mel dust off his mic and record a diss track to clap back at Em. Nothing good came out of his effort but the moment was memorable.
So, Genius gave it up to Eminem and posted across its social media accounts:

It’s worth noticing, that the position of the best verse of the month is not number based. Yet still, the song did quite well on the Genius charts. Overall, Em has two songs of his on the monthly chart and this feature on Ez Mil’s single.
