In November 2019, Fabolous dropped his latest project titled “Summertime shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever”. The project boasted an impressive list of guest artists, showcasing Fab’s strong ties with top tier hip hop musicians. In an interview after the release, Fabolous shared that there were some elusive features he would have loved to include in his next project:
There’s a lot of young artists I like I haven’t worked with. I definitely want to work with Nas. And I would like to work with Eminem. I’ve always been a fan of his work.
Three years have passed, but it seems like Fabolous is nowhere near achieving his dream. But he doesn’t give up, and he knows that this feature would be worth a long wait. Answering the same question about a dream collaboration, Fabolous confirms that his priorities have not shifted:
I wanna do a song with Eminem. He’s real hip hop.
