Eminem’s daughter Alaina Scott is shutting down negativity after receiving hurtful comments about her body following her pregnancy announcement.

The 32-year-old, who is expecting her first child with husband Matt Moeller, took to Instagram Stories to address body-shaming remarks made under a reposted photo of her. The picture, taken after a workout, had been shared by another account with a caption referencing her “pregnancy news”.

However, what caught Alaina’s attention was the comment section filled with criticism about her body size. “Normally I seriously do not care about negative comments”, she wrote over the photo. “However, the caption read since posting about her ‘pregnancy news.’ Yet the comments talk about my body size”.

Standing Up for Herself and Other Women

Alaina then reminded followers that she had just left a workout class. “Maybe don’t assume things”, she said, adding, “I am pregnant and literally growing a child. They’re going to hate to see me at nine months”.

She continued by calling out the double standards women face: “Damned if we do, damned if we don’t. You’re beautiful no matter what your size is”. Alaina encouraged others to give themselves grace, whether they choose to work out, rest, or seek help to feel confident in their own skin.

“Also if you want the surgery, the shot, whatever to improve your appearance then go off sis”, she wrote. “This is your PSA to stop commenting on women’s bodies or any body for that matter”.

Later, she added that her first pregnancy had been an emotional journey. “I actually feel good with my body right now”, Alaina said. “I’m grateful to be able to move my body, eat when I’m hungry, and rest when I need to”.

Lessons from Her Father’s Music

Alaina’s strength and self-assurance echo the message her father shared years ago in his song “Beautiful” from “Relapse” (2009):

Don’t let ’em say you ain’t beautiful,
They can all get fed, just stay true to you

Eminem’s daughters have clearly taken that message to heart. That’s what good fathers do: they help their daughters build confidence, self-respect, and resilience in a world quick to judge.

Earlier this month, Alaina announced her pregnancy with a series of joyful photos. She described feeling deeply grateful for the new life growing inside her and said she and her husband “can’t wait to meet” their baby. Baby M.
