A new round of Verzuz debate inspired the Slaughterhouse veteran to share his take on the impressive pairing.

Just days ago, Dr. Dre left a cryptic message on his Instagram: “Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!”. And while the majority of the industry elite supported the sentiment, Verzuz co-founder and producer Swizz Beatz threw in a suggestion that many found interesting — Busta Rhymes.

Busta is indeed one of very few rappers who can be considered Em’s worthy opponent. His position in the culture, legacy, and impact is on par with his skills and stage presence. However, sceptical voices question if this is a good pairing. One of these voices belongs to KXNG Crooked, who knows both rappers well and can calmly form his arguments amid a heated discussion.

Crook chimed into a debate with a tweet:

I’m not sold on Busta Vs Em.. I feel like it makes sense to people because they both know how to rap fast but after that happens the catalogs go in two completely different directions imo

Although, Crooked I warns his followers not to be too confident that Busta has no chance against Eminem. He reminds:

Don’t sleep on club bangers when on the Verzuz platform. They do damage in rounds

The Long Beach star encourages hip hop heads to think about how incompatible are Busta’s and Em’s catalogues. Of course, both have undeniable hits in their bags, but do they match?

What does Busta play when Em drops Stan or Lose Yourself? What does Em play when Busta drops Hands Where My Eyes Can See or Pass The Courvoisier in your opinion? (That will have equal or better impact)
