WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green came to Shade45 with a fully formed idea for an Eminem tour because she needs to see him perform.
Talking to D-Stroy, she said she recently had a revelation, and making it public changed the digital landscape around her. However, she is not complaining, because she is a longtime fan who really wants to finally see him live:
My algorithm right now is all Eminem. And I’ve been saying that for the past like two weeks. I put up a post on my Instagram story and said, “We need an Eras Tour, but for Eminem”. I was too young to go to an Eminem concert. My parents weren’t taking me to an Eminem concert back in the day. It was too scary for them. But I’m dying now. At the age of 35, I have got to see Eminem in concert. I need a full Eras Tour. So now my gym playlist is all Eminem. My Instagram algorithm is all Eminem. And now I come in here, and here you are.
D-Stroy is the DJ who saw Eminem not that long ago, when he did the Back to School special with Marshall for Shade45’s Labour Day programming. Still, connecting him won’t likely make Chelsea’s dream come true.
Chelsea Green is a reigning WWE queen now, and her desires are indeed royal: an Eminem version of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, with songs from different stages of Marshall’s career. What’s not to like?
However, Eminem’s recently revealed reluctance to tour could stand in the way, to the bitter disappointment of Marshall’s fans around the world.
