Boosie Badazz was very much impressed with this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show. But one moment stood out especially.
For Boosie, an artist who gets to perform at an event of this enormous scale already deserves respect. To use this platform to amplify others and draw attention to their struggles – is an entirely different level of confidence and consciousness. However, the Southern rapper was not surprised when Eminem did that by taking a knee on stage, says Boosie in his interview on VladTV. For him, that was in line with Marshall’s character:
Eminem is a stand-up guy. “I’m the only one out here of this colour, I’m gonna take a motherfucking knee. Let you know I’m with y’all”. Straight up. And plus, he’s from Detroit. He’s raised around us. He got a different love for us than most people who weren’t raised around us. People don’t know the love we have if you’re not raised around us if you’ve never been around good black people.
