[New Music] EZ MIL & Eminem – “MADARA” is Out Now

Eminem’s first verse of 2026 is anime rap rather than Christian rock, as many feared. It came unexpectedly on a single by Shady Records artist Ez Mil.

After Ez dropped the 3RD WRLD EP this summer, media attention shifted away from him, with few expecting another release before next album cycle. So this new single was a surprise drop for practically everyone.

“MADARA” feat. Neil Kaplan & Hideyoshi is named after Madara Uchiha, the Naruto supervillain with god-like powers. The strong anime connection is reinforced by the anime-style lyric video and the spoken-word section, recorded by Neil Kaplan, an actor who voices Madara Uchiha in the English dub of Naruto.

Moreover, Japanese rapper Hideyoshi handles the hook and interludes, bringing a distinctly Japanese rhythmic texture to the track.

Naruto’s world of constant battles provides a perfect backdrop for EZ Mil and Eminem to tackle one of rap’s oldest subjects: dominance. On his verse, Eminem brings back his classic Shady nasal tones and more recent rapid-fire delivery. What stays consistent is his use of multi-syllabic rhyme schemes and layered wordplay.

Eminem is also credited as a co-producer, suggesting that he once again handled the production of his own verse. Now, “MADARA” brings the list of EZ Mil’s collaborations with Eminem to three, following “Realest” and “Head Honcho”.
