Migos’s Quavo came to Shade45 to talk about his new solo album and revealed his three favourite Eminem songs, as well as his interest in a collaboration.
First, DJ Whoo Kid asked Quavo about his favourite Eminem songs and received an answer that many can relate to:
I like “Stan”. The one with him and Dre, where they shot the crazy video. “Guilty Conscience”. And “The Real Slim Shady”. The first one. I had the Box going crazy as a kid. You couldn’t turn the TV on without seeing that blonde hair going somewhere, doing what he was doing.
And then DJ Whoo Kid suggested something for Quavo’s bucket list – a song with Eminem. Even if Quavo did not think about it before, he will now, as he was immediately on board:
Let’s do it. We can kill it.
For all we know, it might happen. Eminem is aware of what is going on in the scene and as shown before that collaborations can come together unexpectedly. We know that it can happen unexpectedly. MAJ recently demonstrated that when he shared a video of his conversation with Marshall while working on “These Demons”.
For now, at least, Quavo is clearly ready.
