Eminem’s iconic track “Without Me” has now crossed the 2.9 billion stream mark on Spotify. This milestone makes it his most streamed song to date and the frontrunner to become his first to hit 3 billion plays.

At its current pace, with over 1 million daily streams, this should happen by spring 2026.

Originally released in 2002 as the lead single from “The Eminem Show”, the song remains a fan favourite more than two decades later. It’s fast, funny, controversial, and still very much alive in streaming culture.

Chart-Topping Since Day One

Upon release, “Without Me” soared to the top of the charts worldwide. It reached No.1 in 15 countries, including the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. In the US, it peaked at No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100, held off only by Nelly’s “Hot in Herre”.

The track became a cultural phenomenon. Its humour, layered references, and cartoonish music video helped define Eminem’s early 2000s presence. The song also earned two Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year, though it lost both.

The Spotify Rankings: Slim at the Top

Here are Eminem’s current top-streamed songs on Spotify:

1. Without Me – 2.9B
2. Lose Yourself – 2.8B
3. Till I Collapse – 2.38B
4. The Real Slim Shady – 2.34B
5. Mockingbird – 2.33B
6. Love The Way You Lie – 2B

Two more tracks are racing to join that 2 billion club. First, “Godzilla” ft. Juice WRLD has 1.82 billion and adds just under 400,000 to this count daily. Second is Akon’s club hit featuring Eminem, “Smack That”, with 1.54 billion showing much stronger streaming potential by gaining over 1 million daily plays.

At these rates, Godzilla may get there first, but only just. If “Smack That” keeps its momentum, it might close the gap and overtake.

Still Without Competition

Whatever happens with the rest, “Without Me” is in a lane of its own. Its journey to 3 billion is all but locked in. Eminem’s early 2000s anthem proves that a song doesn’t need a new release to stay on top, it just needs timeless energy and a legion of loyal listeners.
