Released in June 2010, “Recovery” debuted atop the Billboard 200, with first week sales of 741,000 copies. In a year since its release, the album earned American Music Awards for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album, Billboard Music Awards for Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Rap Album, a Grammy for Best Rap Album, and 3xPlatinum RIAA certification.
The album spawned such hits as “Love The Way You Lie” and “Not Afraid” that became instant classic in Em’s catalogue.
