Fifty has exciting updates for fans, sharing the latest on his “8 Mile” TV series and a new collaboration with Eminem and Snoop Dogg on Snoop’s upcoming album “Missionary”.
50 Cent recently sat down with Big Boy for a new interview, where he provided updates on two major projects eagerly anticipated by fans.
Discussing the “8 Mile” adaptation, Fifty revealed that turning the iconic 2002 movie into a TV series has been a rewarding but challenging experience:
We are working on the television. It’s going pretty good. It gets difficult at points because they’re so used to having entire control over projects. Em’s system is a real system. When you’ve got to deal with the networks and other forces, it gets [a little tricky].
Fans can expect the series to modernise the story of aspiring rapper B-Rabbit, showcasing how technology has transformed the music industry since the movie’s original release, Fifty revealed last year in an interview.
On the music front, 50 Cent confirmed that he will join Eminem and Snoop Dogg on the track “Gunz N Smoke” from Snoop’s highly anticipated album “Missionary”, dropping December 13, 2024. Produced by Dr. Dre, the album is being touted as a sequel to Snoop’s legendary debut, “Doggystyle”. Speaking about the collaboration, Fifty said:
I got a piece coming out with Snoop and Em on Snoop’s new album. Snoop’s a talent. I’m a fan first. That’s why you see him on “P.I.M.P.” immediately. I was listening to him and Dre before I could even have a track from them. It’s an honour to work with him.
With the “8 Mile” series in the works and “Gunz N Smoke” on the horizon, fans of 50 Cent, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg have a lot to look forward to.
