Three Eminem’s albums occupy top slots on the list of the highest first week sales in hip hop.

“The Marshall Mathers LP”, “Encore” and “The Eminem Show” all went eligible for Platinum within a week in the US.

Eminem’s protege and collaborator 50 Cent sits on two positions with “The Massacre” and “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” making the list dominated by Shady Family.

2. Eminem “Encore” – 1.5 million
3. Eminem “The Eminem Show” – 1.3 million

4. 50 Cent “The Massacre” – 1.1 million
5. Lil Wayne “Tha Carter III” – 1 million
6. Drake “Views”- 1 million
7. Lil Wayne “Tha Carter IV” – 964,000
8. Kanye West “Graduation” – 957,000
9. 50 Cent “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” – 872,000
10. Kanye West “Late Registration” – 860,000
