Steadily gaining about 500 million new streams every month, Eminem has surpassed 27 billion total streams on the platform.

This number includes both his streams as a lead artist and features. So far, Eminem has recorded over 23.67 billion streams on his name as a lead artist, and over 3.34 billion streams are coming from his collaborations with other artists.

Chartmasters.org, the website that collects streaming data, places Eminem at No.7 on their list of the most streamed artists ever on Spotify:

It is easy to notice that the list is composed almost entirely of young artists of the streaming era; Marshall is the only exception. When Taylor Swift recently broke into the 20+ billion streams territory, media reported on it, accentuating that Taylor was the only artist besides Eminem who started her career before 2009. Let it sink in, Taylor Swift has the second-longest career on the list.

Back to crunching numbers, though. On the list, Chartmasters ranked musicians by the number of streams for them as lead artists. We, however, report on the total number of streams gained by Eminem. In this case, the top 10 of the most streamed artists looks slightly different. Both Justin Bieber and J Balvin, with their enormous streaming numbers coming from features, jump up, pushing Eminem one slot down to No.8.

1. Drake 54,322,427,674
2. Ed Sheeran 31,583,241,308
3. Justin Bieber 29,596,472,153
4. Bad Bunny 28,856,784,529
5. Ariana Grande 27,472,265,865
6. J Balvin 27,359,141,549
7. The Weeknd 27,320,583,623
8. Eminem 27,013,545,157
9. Post Malone 26,578,736,102
10. Ozuna 24,021,178,353

The previous milestone of 26 billion streams we celebrated back in May, the one before – in March. Hopefully, Eminem fans are not going to slow down in listening to his music and we will report on his new streaming achievement in two months.
