Eminem Brings Wu-Tang Clan to Lions’ Thanksgiving Show

Eminem and Paul Rosenberg’s second year as executive producers of the Lions’ Thanksgiving halftime show brings more esteemed guests to Ford Field – Wu-Tang Clan.

The Detroit Lions have hosted Thanksgiving Day games since 1934, making the tradition one of the NFL’s oldest. It has become one of the most-watched annual events in American sports, drawing millions of viewers nationwide every year.

In 2025, the Lions hired Marshall and Rosenberg to produce three consecutive Thanksgiving Day shows for Detroit. The first show was quintessentially Detroit, headlined by Jack White with a surprise appearance by Eminem himself. The set was later released on streaming platforms and as a 12-inch vinyl single, preserving White’s solo and White Stripes hits and including the “Till I Collapse/Hello Operator” live mash-up with Marshall.

This year, the headliners will arrive all the way from Staten Island. Billboard quoted Rosenberg’s statement from the official press release:

“We often like to do things that are both exciting and unexpected. A Wu-Tang Clan Thanksgiving performance in Detroit certainly fits that description! Both Eminem and myself have been Wu fans since the early ’90s along with a whole generation of Detroit football fans, and we are honored to bring them to this year’s stage”.

Of course, fans are now trying to guess whether we’ll see Eminem sharing the stage with the East Coast legends. We will learn on 26 November, during the Lions’ game against the Chicago Bears.
