Two Eminem tracks just levelled up across the pond: “We Made You” has officially gone Platinum in the UK, while “Smack That” has now been certified 3× Platinum by the BPI.

That is over 600,000 and 1.8 million units sold respectively.

“We Made You” dropped in 2009 as the lead single from “Relapse”, packed with celebrity parodies and the kind of zany humour Em was known for in his earlier days. Produced by Dr. Dre, the track poked fun at everyone from Jessica Simpson to Sarah Palin, and the video was a full-blown comedy sketch show. It hit No. 4 in the UK when it came out.

“Smack That”, meanwhile, was a 2006 global smash. Eminem teamed up with Akon for this one, serving up a slick, club-ready hook over a self-produced beat. The single hit No. 1 in the UK and was a huge radio and chart success worldwide, helping re-establish Eminem’s presence after a quieter period.

Now, years later, both tracks are still getting spins, streams, and sales.
