The unforgettable Shady’s “My Salsa” influenced Tyga’s look and delivery in his recent song and visuals.
The Compton rapper dropped his new single last Friday, colourful “Ay Caramba”. The string of pop culture references he made there was not difficult to decipher, but it is always good to get a confirmation from an artist personally.
So Tyga shared some of his inspirations on his Instagram account, and, as expected, Em’s closing segment from D12’s video “My Band” is featured there prominently.
Tyga even posted a screenshot from “Ay Caramba” side by side with Eminem’s “My Salsa” moment, in case anyone still has their doubts.
This is not the first show of appreciation Tyga shares with the world. Just earlier this year, he named Eminem as one of his two favourite rappers.
