It is not a full deluxe reissue, but “The Real Slim Shady” is getting a proper vinyl moment 25 years after its iconic debut.

A little later than expected — and definitely later than the actual anniversary — Shady Records has finally acknowledged 25 years of “The Real Slim Shady” with a limited-edition vinyl release. Marshall’s official channels dropped the announcement: the iconic single is getting its first-ever coloured pressing as a “Bleach Blonde” 7” vinyl.

Bundled with a 25th anniversary capsule, it is available exclusively through Eminem’s online store and ships on August 22, 2025. All t-shirts are sold out already, though; it only took minutes. Here is the official description from the online shop:

Limited Edition The Real Slim Shady “Bleach Blonde” 7” Vinyl. Exclusive to the Official Eminem Store.

The Real Slim Shady debuted to the world on April 18, 2000, setting the tone for The Marshall Mathers LP as the lead single. For the first time ever, it is now being pressed on “bleach blonde” color vinyl as a 7” single.

(We know it looks kinda like an egg)

Tracklist:
Side A: The Real Slim Shady
Side B: The Real Slim Shady Instrumental

Please note that each vinyl is unique and the colors may appear slightly different from the image displayed.

Limited to 4 per customer.

While some fans had hoped for unreleased cuts or a more expansive reissue, others are just relieved to see the milestone marked at all. “The Real Slim Shady” debuted on April 18, 2000, setting the tone for “The Marshall Mathers LP” and becoming a cultural phenomenon. Now, two and a half decades later, it is back in physical form — limited, collectible, and unmistakably Slim.

The launch also came with a new “MMLP25” milestone section on the official store — it is just the “Slim Shady” vinyl for now, but stans are hoping for more to come.
