It has never been released as a single, yet “Till I Collapse” continues to post figures that rival blockbuster hits.
A new report from the Pop Core account claims Eminem’s “Till I Collapse” has now sold more than 33.3 million units worldwide, combining over 4 billion streams with 6.5 million downloads and physical copies.
However, the source behind the data is unclear, and some industry trackers are more conservative. For example, the respected analytics site ChartMasters estimates that the song has generated the equivalent of 12.1 million units, accounting for streaming, sales, and its contribution to “The Eminem Show” overall performance.
Here is how ChartMasters rank Eminem’s Top 5 best-selling songs:
1. Lose Yourself — 17.9 million units
2. The Real Slim Shady — 13.1
3. Without Me — 12.5
4. ‘Till I Collapse — 12.1
5. Stan — 9.9
Whether the real number is 12 million or 33, what is undeniable is that “Till I Collapse” has taken on a life of its own. Originally released in 2002 and famously used in Call of Duty ads years later, the Nate Dogg-assisted track has become a workout anthem, a viral favourite, and one of Eminem’s most-streamed songs ever. And, officially, the best-selling non-single in music history.
Buzz aside, no one is doubting its legacy. It is a juggernaut that keeps finding new fans more than two decades after its release.
