Vevo posted footnotes to “The Woo” music video that was shot in tragic absence of a lead MC.

This video states that the concept of the video was produced in the close collaboration between a director Eif Riviera, the head of Pop Smoke’s label Steven Victor and 50 Cent who was overseeing the project as an executive producer of Pop’s posthumous album. The inspiration for “The Woo” came from a scene “Kush” by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Akon.

There are also detailed comments on Pop’s live and archive footage used in the video.
