With more than 8.5 billion streams, “The Eminem Show” is both Eminem’s most played album and one of the biggest on Spotify.

One of the most successful rap albums of all time has officially crossed 8.5 billion streams on Spotify, getting another step closer to the inevitable 10 billion mark. The album met its 8 billion streams threshold in January this year, less than 6 months ago.

“The Eminem Show” remains Eminem’s most streamed album by a wide margin, both in lifetime streams and daily activity. Currently pulling in 3 to 4 million streams per day, the 2002 classic just refuses to slow down.

Across all artists and genres, “The Eminem Show” ranks as the 44th most streamed album on Spotify. Among the hip hop projects, it is listed as 12th, and it is the only project over 20 years old within the Top 25. If you’re wondering who else is keeping early 2000s projects in Spotify’s Top 50, the answer, unsurprisingly, is 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Eminem again.
