Eminem’s documentary Stans may have premiered in summer 2025, but its impact is still echoing across the UK charts. The companion album has scored another major milestone, debuting on a new roster while returning to another, months after its initial release.

A Fan-Led Story, Not a Biography

Stans isn’t a typical music documentary. Instead of retelling Eminem’s life in detail, the film shifts focus to the people his music inspired. Long-time fans reflect on the role his songs played in their lives, adding a personal layer to the story of his rise and dominance in the industry. Actually, you can learn more about fans who contributed to the project from our interview with some of them.

The soundtrack, also titled Stans, features a selection of music closely tied to those fan memories. The track selection and the lack of new material on the album showed that the team was not aiming for the soundtrack’s commercial success, but rather to create a cultural document.

New Chart Entry, Old Favourites

The previous week, Stans debuted at No.10 on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Albums chart in the UK. This brings Eminem’s total of top 10 projects on this genre-specific tally to 15.

It’s been less than two years since Eminem last topped that chart. In July 2024, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) opened at No. 1 and stayed there for six weeks. It has now spent over 60 weeks on the 40-spot list. Yet, at the moment, it is not charting.

Guess Who’s Back

At the same time, Stans re-enters the Official Soundtrack Albums chart at No.7, its highest position yet.

It originally landed at No. 19 back in September 2025. Then it moved to No.38 the following week before briefly falling off the radar. Now, it is back on the charts, following the long-awaited vinyl dispatch to the fans who pre-ordered it months ago.

Three Eminem Albums Charting Now

Eminem currently has three albums moving across the UK charts. Curtain Call – The Hits continues to dip slightly (from No.26 last week to No.28) but remains on the Albums and Streaming charts. Its sequel, Curtain Call 2, is seeing a new boost in streaming performance, bringing it up two frames up to No. 64.

With multiple titles still in rotation and a documentary soundtrack climbing again, Eminem’s legacy stays front and centre in the UK.
