Singer/songwriter Skylar Grey, familiar to any Eminem fan because of her multiple collaborations with Marshall, just released a chilling cover of Linkin Park’s iconic track, “Numb”.
Skylar explained in her Instagram post that she has been battling writer’s block in recent years and decided to break the spell by paying homage to her favourite Linkin Park song.
The result became this powerful and haunting rendition of “Numb” that captures the raw emotion of the original while adding Skylar’s unique touch.
Assisting Skylar in bringing her vision to life is the renowned Tommee Profitt, a Grammy-nominated producer with an impressive track record. His work spans beyond hip hop, having his music featured in major movies, TV shows, and sporting events. In 2018, his production of another Linkin Park cover, “In The End”, featuring singer-songwriter Fleurie and rapper Jung Youth, held the Top TV Song spot for two weeks.
