Nearly two decades after its release, Eminem and Nate Dogg’s “Shake That” is finding new life and new fans.
Eminem’s 2006 single “Shake That” is having a serious second wind. The collaboration with Nate Dogg has reemerged on the charts in 2025, fuelled by a viral moment online that has got old fans reminiscing and new fans discovering the track for the first time.
This week, “Shake That” re-enters Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales chart at No. 6, hitting a new personal best. It’s also soaring on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales list, where it climbs from No. 14 to No. 8. That is another new high for the nearly 20-year-old cut.
Originally released on Eminem’s Curtain Call greatest hits album, “Shake That” was already a hit back in the day, peaking at No. 6 on the Hot 100. Now, with more than 600 million streams on Spotify and counting, it is clear this one still hits hard, whether it is playing at a party or popping off on TikTok.
