Almost two decades after its release, “Shake That” is making an unexpected comeback in the UK, landing on not one but two charts this week.
Originally released as a single from “Curtain Call: The Hits” in 2005, the Nate Dogg-assisted track has climbed back onto the Official Singles Downloads chart at No. 96. Even more impressively, it debuts on the Official Singles Sales chart for the first time, opening at No. 98 — almost 20 years after its initial success. In the UK, the song peaked at No. 28 on the UK Download Chart following its release as a download-only single in April 2006.
With this new milestone, Eminem now boasts 42 entries on the Official Singles Sales chart, showing just how enduring his music is. While his latest songs have their fair share of public interest, classics like “Shake That” prove that the appeal can last for decades.
As usual, “Curtain Call: The Hits” remains a strong performer on the album charts, charting across multiple UK rankings. With five of Eminem’s albums still holding spots, and his catalogue — old and new — never really fades.
