Marshall’s sixth studio album has become his eighth to reach the milestone of 2.2 billion Spotify streams.

Released in 2009 after a four-year hiatus from recording, “Relapse” won Eminem the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, while the “Crack a Bottle” single won Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

“Relapse” has won the reputation of a cult classic among Eminem’s loyal fans, but its popularity remains niche and does not amount to a million streams a day. We’ll see how it changes when Eminem drops “The Death of Slim Shady”, and a generation of new listeners will rediscover Em’s catalogue.
