Eminem Rap God Music Video

Genius published the list that shows the biggest song of each year of the 2010s, measuring total page views from release to present day for tracks from every year.

The results are interesting as they demonstrate the shift of the audience interest from hip-hop to pop with the outstanding insurgence of the popularity of “Despacito (Remix)” in 2017 when millions went to look up the lyrics and translations for the hit of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. The numbers peaked up to nearly 23 million views and made this song the most popular song on Genius history.

The second to this result is demonstrated by Eminem. His “Rap God” remains the most popular song of 2013 with 15 million pageviews. The third in popularity in this list is Ariana Grande’s “Thank u, next” with 8.4 million views that do not even come close to Eminem’s numbers.
