Animator Randy Chriz, known for his lyric videos for “Tone Deaf” and “Godzilla”, has finally released his animated take on “Guilty Conscience 2” from Eminem’s latest album.

Fans of Eminem and animation alike have something new to celebrate — Randy Chriz dropped an animated video for “Guilty Conscience 2”, a track from Eminem’s most recent project, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)”. Known for his recognisable imagery, love for Eminem’s music, and work on videos like “Tone Deaf” and “Godzilla” from “Music to Be Murdered By” that combined both, Chriz brings his bold, distinctive style to this new release after months of anticipation.

In a candid introduction on his YouTube channel, Chriz explained the journey of creating the video, which he began back on July 12 and wrapped up in August. He submitted it to Interscope, hoping for an official release, but red tape kept it in limbo until October 31. “Turns out too many red tapes on this (visually)”, he shared, adding that after a long wait, he received the green light to release it independently just at the end of October.

Addressing the video’s censored visuals, Chriz clarified that it is not about monetisation: “All money on this goes to UMG anyway”, he explained. He mentioned a concern about “trigger points” in the visuals, which could possibly lead to the video being taken down. But he is not ruling out an uncensored version in the future, teasing fans with a “maybe.”

With his unique, edgy animation style, Randy Chriz’s video for “Guilty Conscience 2” gives fans a fresh take on Eminem’s music, bringing a gritty, cinematic twist to the latest chapter in the Slim Shady saga.
