Nominees for 2021 Pop Awards have been announced, and Eminem is on the list in the Artist Of The Year category.
Pop Magazine is an online music magazine based in Berlin. Since 2018 the publication runs their own Pop Awards where popular vote and expert vote decide who was the most prominent figure on the international music scene.
This year, the nominees for the Artist Of The Year Award are:
Alicia Keys
Dua Lipa
Eminem
John Legend
Selena Gomez
Marshall’s recent album “Music To Be Murdered By” is not mentioned in the Album Of The Year category.
The popular vote is open on the official award website. It accounts for 50% of the total. The other 50% comes from an expert panel of music journalists, states the publication.
Taylor Swift was the first artist to win a Pop Award by winning the Artist Of The Year category in 2018. In 2019 the title went to The Carters, and in 2020 – to The Highwomen (over Bruce Springsteen, Camila Cabello, Emeli Sande and James Blunt).
