Swedish personality PewDiePie uses nursery rhymes to diss his YouTube competitors, and Eminem’s technique to distance from allegations.

PewDiePie used his time and resources to show that he is not worried about Cocomelon getting ready to snatch his second place on the list of the most subscribed YouTube channels. PewDiePie has been feuding with this children channel since June when Cocomelon’s rapid subscriber growth became apparent. As of now, Cocomelon has 105 million subscribers against 109 million of PewDiepie’s audience. Cocomelon is also the second most-viewed channel on YouTube with 93 billion lifetime views against 26 billion lifetime views granted PewDiePie his 21st place. This talkative Swede held the first place on “the most viewed channel” list for 780 days so for him this battle is personal, while historically futile.

Nevertheless, PewDiePie squeezes everything he can from this rivalry, and his latest video draws the public interest from beyond his usual audience. In this video he is dancing with kids and swearing in their faces, dissing Cocomelon and, for no apparent reason, Tekashi 6ixty9ine.

PewDiePie concludes his childish diss with a signature Slim Shady move that Eminem used a lot to downplay the severity of his attacks – from 2000’s “Kill You” to 2018’s “Killshot”:
I’m just playing, you know I love you.

PewDiePie’s video got over 3 million views in 6 hours, and if you want to watch it, you know where to find it.

Here you can watch “White America”, one of the songs where Eminem used this sarcastic sign-out:
