Nearly two decades after its release, 50 Cent’s iconic track “P.I.M.P.” has been officially certified 2x Platinum in the UK.

Released in 2003 as the third single from his debut album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”, “P.I.M.P.” became an instant hit. Produced by Mr. Porter of D12 and mixed by Dr. Dre, the track was later remixed with Snoop Dogg, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck, boosting its popularity even further.

While the song achieved massive success in the US — peaking at No.3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning three Platinum certifications from the RIAA by 2023 — its UK journey has been slower. This new milestone, though, confirms the status of “P.I.M.P.” as a global classic.
