It is officially confirmed that Eminem will perform live at the upcoming MTV VMAs ceremony this Wednesday. He is not just performing but starting the whole evening, setting it right with his unique energy and experience.
Marshall has been nominated in eight categories this year, and winning even one of them will make him the most celebrated MTV artist in history (now he is tied with Peter Gabriel).
One of those categories is VMA Most Iconic Performance for his unforgettable “The Real Slim Shady” / “The Way I Am” number at the 2000 VMAs. But the VMAs Instagram account referred to another Eminem’s memorable appearance when announcing his place in the 2024 lineup:
