Eminem dropped one of the most impressive sports references on his recent verse for Dr. Dre’s new song “Gospel” and mentioned there one of the UFC’s biggest stars, Nate Diaz.

Marshall rapped:

Nate Diaz got the world by the tracheas
In a chokehold and a sleeper

his description most probably refers to one of the most spectacular Diaz’s fights when he won over Conor McGregor by submission in the second round. Here is this historic moment:

Many sports media picked up this reference together with endless fans of both Em and Nate Diaz.

Of course, not everybody was happy with this hype. There were people hating on Eminem, on Diaz, on both, stating that this reference made them like any part of this tandem less then before, proclaiming either of involved GOATs washed and irrelevant. Well, haters gonna hate. Meanwhile, Eminem remains one of the most popular an influential rapper in the world and Nate Diaz just got his contract with the UFC renewed.
